For Atika!
Exam Results
1st Standardised Test 2009
BM : 84% A1
ENG : 80% A2 (YES I ONLY got EIGHTY marks for my English but WAIT till you see what I got for the 2nd test)
MATH : 100% A1 (whoops! Tradition! 1st Standardised test MUST get 100%! :D :D :D)
+MATH : 78% A2 (please don't laugh okay you didn't see my header mer?)
BIO : 72% A2 (I know I know. My favourite Science subject is Biology - EXCEPT PLANTS I DESPISE THE STUDY OF PLANTS - but I got the lowest for it compared to the other Science subjects. Lazy to study mar)
PHY : 80% A1 (Physics's totally not my calling so I was REALLY surprised when Miss Tan summoned me to her table and asked me if I was having problems trying to cope with Physics because she expected me to get MORE than 80%. I swear my mouth was like hanging vertically open at 180 degrees because I was so shocked when she asked me)
CHEM : 85% A1 (I always averaged between 83 - 90% never higher, never lower UNTIL.....)
SEJ : 77% A2 (I know la very low. Usually get A1 one. This time lazy la)
EST : 86% A1 (MY FIRST A1 FOR EST I SWEAR I (used to, I hope) suck so bad at EST I tell you)
MORAL : 85% A1 (the highest I can EVER manage to get I think considering the inanity of the teachers who mark the paper COMPLETELY FULLY WHOLLY ENTIRELY based on the stupid SCHEMA - their paper-marking policy: NO EXCEPTIONS I ask them go die)
Do you realise that I got straight As (although not A1s) for the 1st Standardised test??? :D :D :D :D :D OF COURSE LA OR NOT WHY DO YOU THINK I EVEN WANT TO POST MY RESULTS HERE???? :D :D :D :D :D I damn like to boast one hohohoho! :D :D :D Some more some more I was the only one who got straights As okay! :D My position was third I think in class, but I was the only one who got straight As (in my form or class)! :D :D :D
2nd Standardised Test 2009
BM : 73% A2 (damn pathetic okay. The whole test was ONE Karangan Bahan Rangsangan. So the whole paper is (your marks)/30 x 100% and I only got 22/30 D: damn siasui lor I sooo think I deserve more marks okay but Puan Shri said "Markah adalah muktamad." D: D: D:)
ENG : 75% A2 (I have only one word to say to this: I HATE SUMMARY I HATE SUMMARY I HATE SUMMARY YOU HATE SUMMARY WE HATE SUMMARY I HATE SUMMARY I HATE TEACHERS WHO STICK LIKE UHU GLUE TO THE SCHEMA WHEN MARKING PAPERS I HATE SUMMARY I HATE SUMMARY I HATE SUMMARY!!!!!!)
MATH : 88% A1 (I want to cry over this. I should have gotten 100% for this one lor but I was ABSENT when Mr H taught us about this stupid chapter which I completely missed due to my frequent school-skipping. BOTH questions (I screwed) which constitute my lost 12 marks WERE FROM THAT PARTICULAR CHAPTER screw myself super serves me right I know!!! Words of Cherrie and Mae Vin: "Ponteng some more la, ponteng...")
+MATH : 77% A2 (done with true Jo-Yee fashion: thousands of careless mistakes and mismanagement of time; result: 23 marks GONE)
BIO : 54% C6 (ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know la I didn't do much studying but C6??????????? UNACCEPTABLE!!!)
PHY : 71% A2 (sincerely apologised to Miss Tan for my inability in NOT doing careless mistakes and vowed to be more careful in future. For the ten thousandth time since my first test in 2008)
CHEM : 60% B4 (please don't ask because doing so will spark some bad memories (over which I will cry - *CRIES*) in which I measured wrongly the precipitate in the test tubes and the subsequent questions which had to be answered according to the measurements of the precipitate cost 16 marks! Which I LOST because of the extra 1.5cm!!! D: D: D:)
SEJ : 74% A2 (actually vowed to do better since the last exam, but broke my vow as usual and got punished by Puan Zu. Had to ketuk ketampi ten times. Embarrassing)
EST : 83% A1 (MY SECOND A1 FOR EST YAYS!!!!! I DON'T CARE IF YOU THINK 83% IS VERY LITTLE I JUST WANT A1!!!)
MORAL : 75% A2 (to be honest I don't really care about Moral in school because I don't think the SPM examiners would be so stupid as to stick like UHU Glue to the schema when marking our papers the way the stupid Moral teachers in my school do so I think I can actually do well in SPM)
Do you realise that I DROPPED in EVERY SINGLE subject compared to the first test? NONE of which even increased by even ONE mark???? I am so pathetic I know. But this time I really didn't put effort into studying because I was busy with Sports, Girl Guide, HOMEWORK (excuse excuse excuse). Yea. Stupid right my marks? I got No. 4 in class this time. Dropped like shit. I'm only one mark away from Top Three but it doesn't even matter. I SUCK. I love Biology but see what I got? ONLY 54%. Okay you can start laughing now. I know you have been meaning to do so ever since you saw my A2 for ENGLISH. I think this is the FIRST TIME IN MY WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE THAT I GOT LESS THAN 80% for my English (and 80% is VERY LITTLE OKAY) and so I HATE SUMMARY I HATE SUMMARY I HATE SUMMARY.
The last time I got 7A1s and 3A2s. This time I got ONLY 2A1s, 6A2s, 1B4 and 1C6. Now go ahead and compare and please help me comprehend how is it possible that one normal human being can drop SO MUCH in just a matter of few months?????? (unless I'm abnormal) I think I need to use my brain more and increase my cerebrum folds with the increase of brain cells in my brain (wtf so many brain one?) (thanks Miss Biology for teaching me this! (not the ability to write so many brains in one sentence la of course! About how the brain works la! D:) It is so interesting now I am SO pursuing Psychology! :D :D :D I WANT TO GO TO INTI!!!! :D :D :D)
So I guess that is all I have to say today. Because I broke my vow YET again by blogging on a weekday. And so right now I have to go rot in hell and also soak in my utter embarrassment of obtaining such laughable results for my 2nd Standardised Test 2009.
Ciao.
PS> I forgot to mention, because of my 2nd Standardised Mathematics paper, I vowed never to skip school ever again unless completely unavoidable. (let's just hope I stick to it this time round)

This is the REAL ATHY.
Okay. Back to my point of post.
Sometimes I am just really angry at how stupid and ignorant people can be. Okay by people I mean my stupid sister. Yes, I know she read my blog at some point and then stopped or so she claimed, I mean, or so I've heard but I'm pretty sure she still does read my blog.
So April Tan Han Yee. LISTEN UP.
You can be all angry at me for posting negative stuff about you in my blog (yes, they are NEGATIVE stuff, NOT lies) but what exactly are you angry at, huh? Angry at me for telling the truth? Angry that I'm publishing/revealing your shameful attitude and personality online for the perusal of the public eye? For THAT I have only one question for you:
SO FREAKING WHAT?
You may not agree with me for bitching about people online but hohoho, what have you been doing? Yes I DO read your blog. And you've been bitching like nobody's business. At least I am not as big a coward as you are to not admit it. You think you are so nice and saint-like right? Then so be it. You want to appear to be so saint-like, then BE. I don't freaking give a damn. Just don't act like NOBODY knows what you're HIDING. You are freaking transparent.
You want to know why I'm so mad? Okay so my Dad has bought that person (I am so disgusted I refuse to type out her name, or even to admit that I'm related to her) her laptop and then he said that he wanted to take my computer for reformatting (my PC works like shit, honest) so I would have to be parted with my heart-and-soul for at least a few days. But I can't live without my heart-and-soul (duh!) even for a few days, particularly during this period of time when it's Rush Hour for all QGCs to complete the GG Log Books (cries and dies) before BSS on the 8 - 10 May 2009. So I cannot even bare a FEW days without my PC or I wouldn't have time to finish up all those LBs I have to do.
Dad's suggestion was to use its laptop. Convo below shall elucidate the subsequent events that took place.
Daddy: You can use your sister's laptop while your PC's gone what.
Jo-Yee: No, I can't! *proceeds to give lots of excuses*
Daddy: No no no, just a few days only. Won't affect much one. I'll come take it tomorrow.
Jo-Yee: Noooo! Daddy cannot! I really need to use the PC these two weeks. Promise promise, 11th May you take okay?
Daddy: WHY HAVE TO BE SO LONG? You use your sister's laptop first for these few days cannot one mer?
Jo-Yee: No no no, I need my PC later she needs to use hers le! *continues giving lame excuses in hope to disguise real reason*
Daddy: You use you sister's laptop la. For two days only. TWO DAYS ONLY.
Jo-Yee: *runs out of excuses and eventually decides to reveal true reason* She won't let me use one la. *in a sheepish tone, mind you, because I was even ashamed of admitting that it (since this is MY line, I can use it again) is that selfish*
Daddy: Huh? *couldn't hear because of my sudden drop in volume*
Jo-Yee: *repeats sentence*
Daddy: WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? She will let you use one okay? I will talk to her. Deal. She will let you use one. Don't worry.
Jo-Yee: *for a second (I CANNOT believe) I was actually convinced and even felt guilty for initially thinking of it that way* Okay la.
Daddy: Aya, never mind la. I'll take it for repair on the 11th la. *hangs up*
Jo-Yee: ????????????????
Okay so there goes my conversation. In the end, I was happy because my H&S will still be by my side during my hardship (LOG BOOKS LOG BOOKS LOG BOOKS) and I wouldn't have to bear the embarrassment not to mention discomfort of using something that didn't belong to me. (sorry, I don't know why I cannot live using other people's stuff - except for things I can't afford la, like house, car, etc - explains why my pencil case has every single stationery possible in exception of a hole-puncher of course, it's too big)
Okay, so the part that made me real mad?
Later I sprinted to it and totally tested if my initial conjecture about its selfishness was true, and honestly, I was kind of expecting to be returned an answer which proved me wrong but you know how our convo went?
Please note that we were about to have dinner together before the following conversation took place:
Jo-Yee: *sets table ready* So Dad called just now and he said he wants to take my PC to repair. So these few days I might have to use your laptop first lor.
It: *quote*Your head.*in a very rude tone, mind you**end quote*
Jo-Yee: *looks at that strange/unidentified creature with shocked bulging eyes*
It: *quote*I won't lend you one.*cynically but meaning every single word**end quote*
Jo-Yee: *continues staring at S/U (hahaha setiausaha, no this is not the time to be funny, back to being serious) C and eventually leaves cutlery on table unset and proceeds to room then locks door, REFUSING DINNER (it is VERY rare that I refuse dinner one okay. So when I do you know I'm damn pissed la)*
Seriously, all the guilt, shame and whatever I felt when I thought I wrongly accused it of its selfishness went right down the toiletbowl. I'm serious. I don't feel a tad bit guilty right now even, for writing AND posting this.
I am so mad I don't even feel hungry anymore when about a few minutes ago (before I encountered the S/UC) I was actually STARVING.
I know it is counter-attacking me of my previous post but then what I said IS freaking true okay! Plus I let it use my PC ALL THIS WHILE, LET ITS BOYFRIEND USE MY PC ALL THIS WHILE and now it says that it refuses to let me even touch its laptop? Oh my God. I've been buying printer ink like nobody's business for EVERYBODY's use, I was the one who even GOT the printer in the first place, I was the ONE who succeeded in persuading Mum and Dad to get this PC. WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOINGGGGGGG??????? Besides shamelessly USING MY PC when YOU were the one who boy-cotted when I initially said I wanted a PC?
So what about YOU huh? It's almost like a scheme that you've planned that once you get your PC, you will never let me use it. I wouldn't have minded so much if within the period of the planning of your scheme and your announcement that I'm off-limits when it comes to usage of your PC, you hadn't used my PC like you were so innocent. What pisses me off is, KNOWING that you will decide to declare that I'm not allowed to touch your PC when the time arrives, you still CONTINUE USING MY PC!!! It's like, it already decided that I'm not allowed to touch its PC, but it still CONTINUES using my PC like it's nobody's business!
WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU???
Do you guys get what I mean? What kind of a HYPOCRITE is it??????
I was so wrong. SO wrong for loving you. SO wrong for caring about you. SO wrong for putting you on my list of People I Love. And you know what? I am going to do this the childish way - by DELETING you from that list, that post. I am sorry, I can't live a lie. I salute you for being able to.
From now I on, I pledge to never fall into your web of disguises, hipocrisy and lies again. For people out there, THIS is the real April Tan Han Yee. Please open your FREAKING eyes and look. And STOP telling me that I'm just writing this out of anger and disillusionment. You live with her your whole life and you will GET what I mean.
I hate her. I mean it. Ciao.
Kill me please

BAZAR 2009 Courtesy of Girl Guide Society of Malaysia!
You think the route to becoming a Queen's Guide is easy?
It's been a long time since I've last posted right? But that is because I stuck to my promise and only came online during the weekends! During which I was soooo busy I hadn't the time to post anything! :D
But then, oh no don't think I'm contravening my own rules again just because I am blogging YET again on a weekday, cos I am totally allowed to use this opportunity to replace the time I would have used to blog during the last weekends if I wasn't busy okay. So he he he. :D Some more I am doing my school work ma. Memang need internet access one so I am not online for
UPDATES! :D Something very shocking happened to me about a few days ago. Easter eve I think. It was very terrible. It was so abysmal I even considered committing suicide JOKING JOKING how long you know me already still don't know that I will never commit suicide one. D: (Some more considering how happy-happy I am writing this post it's obvious I'm no where near THAT demented okay) Anyway.
I was going to blog about it, but somehow I lost the adrenaline and muse then I decided to post about something else instead. Next time when the feeling comes back, only then I'll write about it la.
Moving on.
Today I told Miss Biology that I wanted to pull out from the Biology Quiz she submitted my name to, because I would be busy with Bengkel Selalu Sedia (BSS) (if you guys have been paying attention to my blog you all will know what this is. Hor, don't know la. Fine, don't want tell you. ):)
I expected her to just glare at me as would be her usual respond but this time I was in for something even bigger. First she indirectly condemned me of my inability to manage my time. Then she proceeded to condemning Cherrie's artwork for her Projek Khidmat Masyarakat 3 Bulan (PKM3B). Oh no she was not done, then she continued vilifying the whole Girl Guide Society claiming that us Queen's Guides to be are just a bunch of liars for we are doing nothing significant to earn our title (AS IF SHE KNOWS EVERYTHING LIKE THAT). Then right, (jor, running out of connectors already) she continued vilifying everything there is to be vilified in this world and then elucidated that the three Queen's Guides in our school last year who got their titles were also a bunch of undeserving liars.
To which I have only ONE thing to say:
WHATEVER.
Let me enlighten all of you of the REAL process to earning the Queen's Guide title. But let me warn you first that this post might end up very boring but I don't care because I want to LET EVERYONE KNOW that this title is NOT AS EASY SHIT AS YOU THINK.
First, to qualify for Pandu Puteri Remaja, candidates will have to pass a series of tests, which include ikatan, outdoor survival skills (fire-starting, camping, innovative skills when facing danger/adversity during the outdoors) health tests, stalking skills, (I'm serious. This is supposed to teach us how to observe and watch people/enemies without being found out) etc. And then we will have to transform all of those tests that we've passed into writings in a report book called Log Book (Buku Log Kemajuan Pandu Puteri Remaja) which I'm sure most of you have read a gazillion times before about how I hate doing them.
Then, the next step, we will have to qualify for our Pandu Puteri Renjer. This also includes all the aforementioned tests, only with more maturity and increased difficulty level. The additional part of this test requires candidates to dig out histories of Malaysia, as well as the geographical location of Malaysia, within Malaysia, and then within the states and towns in Malaysia. It is HARD work okay. Yes, candidates may download information from the internet, but the Malaysian webpages are always "improvising works are in progress" and so how easy do you think it is to even extract a MODICUM of information about Malaysia from the internet? Plus we are not allowed to copy-paste our findings so we will have to either retype the whole thing or summarise the whole pasage or something and then transform all that into writing in another log book, this time named Buku Log Kemajuan Pandu Puteri Renjer.
And then there are individual log books that we have to do. One will have to fulfil all the requirements stated in the guide book which sometimes include very time-consuming activities like travelling, collecting, interviews, cooking, washing, painting, singing, acting, writing, research, observation, public speaking, outdoor skills, innovation skills, people skills, leadership (basically EVERYTHING there is to be learned) bla bla bla. And then to qualify for Queen's Badge, multiply the number of log books with 22. Yes. We have THAT many log books to do BEFORE we can officially earn our QG title.
And what about practical work? In total we will have to have organised TWO official camps WITHOUT even a MODICUM of help from teachers or whatever. You think that's easy? Do you even KNOW the word camp? We have to consider the safety of the participants, their food and welfare, accommodation bla this that this that.
And to have reached this stage, ALL OF US 6 QGCs of SMK(P) Bukit Kuda, Klang have completed ALL the aforementioned tests/work/stress/pressure.
So WHO is she to say that we are undeserving our of title after ALL we've DONE? She did NOT even see ANYTHING we've done except our PKM3B which we've done recently (I'm still trying to finish it. Amen.) She only has her stupid mouth to keep critising people and pointing out mistakes AS IF she herself is a saint or something. To which I can only respond: PUKE PUKE PUKE PUKE GAG GAG GAG GAG
I know there is this thing that people have been meaning to ask, but refrained because doing so would sound rude, and I'm about 99.9% sure this question is running across in your mind too while you're reading this post:
If it's so cumbersome stressful pressuring bad ugly whatever adjective to describe something bad and boring then WHY do you all still want to do it?
Well. It's all about determination, goals and boasting.
Seriously. It is. Well, to ME it is, I don't know about the rest of the 5 QGCs in our school...
DETERMINATIONI want to do this simply because I want to prove to people that I'm not someone who gives up easily and also, I want to excel in my co-curricular (as well as my academic; but I think I've got that in hand pretty well. Only when I study la of course :P) to form a good foundation for me for when I want to apply for scholarship to pursue my education. (wtf so many for one) Do you guys know that the Queen's Guide title/certificate is recognised nationwide? That means when I apply for some local universitiy/college/scholarship or whatever and they evaluate my co-curricular background, my Queen's Guide title would constitute FULL MARKS. So isn't it completely LOGICAL that I pursue this QG badge?
GOALS
I have lots of goals. As you already know, I conjecture. The most important goal that I want to achieve through this title is significance (despite what stupid Miss Biology has to say). Yes. I want to be remembered, to make a mark in school, to continue to be talked about in school even after I've graduated. Because otherwise what is the whole point of school (knowledge-gaining aside)? You waste 5 years of secondary education in high school and then you are just going to graduate without leaving anything significant behind? Well, I want to be remembered by my teachers and Juniors as someone who's at least achieved something in school. Plus, I want to test my limits. I want to test if I can go as far as to complete all the cumbersome log books and stuff, and then ultimately I can achieve my goal of patience. Next is because I want to make Puan Ding happy and proud. Finish.
BOASTING
Cannot meh? You want to complain that I am such a bragger but YOU GOT ANYTHING TO BRAG ABOUT OR NOT? No la. I am not a mean person. What I mean by boasting is that feeling that makes you feel proud of yourself when you get to showcase to people that you've achieved something. It's a great feeling to be showered with compliments you know. Don't deny la you. Maybe you just don't want to admit it because you've never been complimented before HAHAHAHAHA. Plus being successful (yes, achieving the Queen's badge constitutes successful to me because I (am about to have) achieved it, are/do/did you?) is the only way people are going to respect you and take you seriously.
So you see. It all makes sense. I'm sure you are probably going, "There are other ways to become successful la bla bla bla," but please come back from your ideas of publishing a book, writing articles for national newspapers, earning money from your own efforts (wtf sound like May Zhee only) and all that because mind you, we're in HIGH SCHOOL and only very determined people can do that. Can you? Then you're probably going, "Yes I can." But my question is, Are you doing it?
Well, that's where you're losing out. Because I'm doing something in my life. I'm doing something with my life. Just because it happens to be something I don't entirely enjoy, but doesn't that just make my efforts more worthwhile and significant when I do achieve it?
Please. I've said this before and I'm going to say it again:
Please think of your own inadequacies first before you go vilifying other people.
.
Ciao.
PS> I know Miss Biology has published her own books already but she's doing that only at the age of what? 4 decades old? Okay la it's quite an achievement also but does that give her the right to criticise others? NO. I'm getting more and more convinced that she's a two-year-marriage-divorcee rather than a 5 decade-old virgin I originally thought she was, given her total inability in staying civilised in her daily life. To which I can only say, Praise God for saving one man's *coughheralleged/rumouredex-husbandcough* life.
PPS> Okay I am so mean.
PPPS> I just realised! My first left-aligned post! :D Preeeeeeeeeettttyyy! :D :D :D

My 17th Birthday! :D
And so the traditional process begins!
Similarly like What's a Picture Post without a photo of a pretty girl?
Also What's a birthday celebration without a totally hot and gorgeous
birthday girl named TANG JO-YEE Roti Tisu?
MOVING ON! :D
Dinner at The Ship with Daddy, Mummy, April and Tommy! :D
This is what Daddy ordered. Some steak with garlic sauce or something. I refused to take note of the name of his dish because he refused to give me a stick of his baby carrots. Stingy. In the end he didn't even finish them okay! ):
This is what Mum ordered. Baked fish something something something. This time I don't remember because........I just don't remember. Hahahaha. Not a fan of fish la. :D
Hah! This I remember! Because it was my dish! It was the most awesome dish of the night! :D And it was mine! Or maybe I said that already! But whatever! It's called.................Roasted Lamb Rack!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D
Okay so I lied. I don't remember the name of this dish as well. But I'm pretty sure it's something like that. Is it my fault that The Ship names their dishes with such long and complicated names and also that once the food arrived I totally forgot to even BOTHER to remember the name of the dish because I was so totally mesmerised by the aroma emanating from it??? NO, it is NOT. So don't call me a glutton who knows only to eat and not remember dish names okay! eventhough technically I am
But the lamb rack I ordered was a really good dish, promise. (: Verdict: The lamb was very tender and the sauce was awesome and the brocolli was very tender and the corn was awesome repeat for the rest of the stuff on the dish please thank you very much bye!
I seriously don't know why the only pictures of human I managed to snap that night was of my sister and Tommy. Seriously. I was the Attention Of The Night but do you see me in any photos? Noooooo! Unless if I was one of the lamb racks. Sheeeeesh.
Or maybe it wasn't a celebration for my birthday but a celebration for my sister for obtaining good results for her STPM! Oh my God! O_O
Bad side: I was cheated into such bliss during the night whereby I danced around the restaurant half-naked singing "Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to meeeeeeeeeeee...!~" and got hauled to the police station for indecent exposure JOKING JOKING
Good side: Dad is now back to owing ME a birthday dinner! :D :D :D More fooooooooooood! :D This is the cake Mum bought me which she claimed was the BEST CAKE IN THE WORLD until everyone took a bite of it and fell to the floor and DIED.
Joking, it just wasn't as good as (the stupid Fruitty Cakehouse person said it would be) my Mum thought it would be. And Ta-Daaah! The Princess Diaries Book 10! The final instalment to the series! :D Heeheehee. Cherrie, Mae Vin and Xin Yi got it for me. Awwww... (:
Okay so that wraps up my Picture Post for my 17th Birthday. Thank you very much for even bothering to read ciao goodbye see you next time.
Okay la. I'll give a proper thank you speech to all of you who have made me so happy and blissful for my 17th Birthday la okay? (:
Thank you Cherrie and Mae Vin (and Xin Yi) for going through all the trouble of planning me this little mamaking and also for the book. (: I'll try to forget the lame attempt you guys tried to present me with the gift by hanging the book in front of my mirror (because according to you, I never fail to check the mirror every five minutes or so to see if my hair is out of place or whatever which is so untrue because I am not that narcissistic thank you very much) so that you guys would be spared the awkward situation of handing me the gift (lest I don't like it but HELLO. How would I not like TPD Book 10 anything you guys buy me?????)
And thanks Atika, May Shuen, Rock Chan, Seow Wei, Ashley and Zee Yeng for coming to celebrate my birthday with me, and also all the little gifts you guys brought along. (: Sorry no pictures because I forgot to snap snap snap so I'll post them another time. Heeheee. :D
Thanks also to Zoey, Sue May, my cousins, Mummy and Daddy, April and everyone else for all the gifts and birthday wishes you guys gave me. :D
Sooooo I guess that's all! :D
Ciao! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
