I actually have something very interesting to post but I promised Wani that we will both do a twin post today in our blogs about colours to make-up for that fact that we haven’t updated our blogs in such a long time lol.
So this is Wani’s blog.
Today in PP (Business) class Cik Chew told us about how there are actually colours which represent certain personalities of people and so she kind of evaluated each of our personalities and guessed our favourite colours.
She got some of the girls’ favourite colours right and she guessed mine very correctly too! (PINK) lol
So I went online to search for the colour personality thing, and this is what I found! :
From : http://www.shvoong.com/social-sciences/psychology/1593795-colour-personality/
BLACK : Demand a calm environment, free of conflict and disagreement. Prefer natural to artificial. Capable of being comfortable in conditions that would bother others. Not easily disconcerted. Enjoy attention, but are unsure of how to handle it.
At one point of my life, I used to like black alot, and I guess I still do, but only in certain things, but I don’t really find this explanation correct. I mean, first of all, when I was a fan of black colour, I was kind of in the punk rock phase (don’t judge!!! It happens to everyone!!! Don’t deny!!!) and I kind of liked drama and chaos and everything. So I don’t really get the free of conflict and disagreements part. But the last sentence is quite accurate because I did like attention (still do actually lol) and was more often than not quite unsure of how to handle it (unfortunately, still am too fml)
BLUE : Enjoy a peaceful environment in which to relax and appreciate life. Have a refined sense of beauty. Capable of persisting against all odds when determined to reach a goal. Intent on establishing a personal attitudinal framework within goal accomplishment.
Never liked blue. Bleargh.
BROWN : Natural and easy-going, prefer a calm environment. Attracted to the outdoors. Have a refined sense of beauty. Rather conservative with well-ordered mind, not attracted to the bizarre. Not entertained by fads or styles, comfortable with current value system.
Cherrie really likes brown currently but really??? Prefer a calm environment??? I don’t think so lol but she IS attracted to the outdoors, has a refined sense of beauty and the following following statements. So I guess this is quite right.
GRAY : Enjoy a calm environment. Easy-going and original, will try anything once. Gentle, relaxed, and self-assured; capable of being everyone’s friend. Have an eye for the aesthetic a good team player. Constantly reappraising own situation though might appear as self-possessed.
GREEN : Very strong-willed and determined, can accomplish much when left alone and undisturbed. Easy-going and original, capable of relaxing and enjoying the finer things in life. Have an eye for art. Diligent and persevere in life.
PURPLE : Very spontaneous; have a quick and original mind that knows no boundaries. Comparatively conservative and appreciate beautiful surroundings, especially in nature. Relaxed and self-assured. A good team player. Have unique, unusual tastes, but quite comfortable among more conservative peers.
RED : Possess incredible will-power, capable of overcoming obstacles that would stop others. Enjoy a pleasant and colourful environment. Capable of bursts of high energy spontaneity, though generally more "laid back". Energetic and interested in many areas of life. Capable of accomplishment when consciously focused and persistent.
YELLOW : An original and powerful thinker, capable of overcoming great obstacles. Easy-going and enjoy the finer things in life, with an eye for art. Calm and relaxed, often the one who try not to "rock the boat". Love to search for new ideas, methods and styles; can be very productive when focused on a course of action.
(kenot use yellow font la later you kenot read)
Very interesting right??? So did you choose your colour and read about your matching personality?
Was it correct?
But I only have one question for this thing though : WHERE’S THE PINK COLOUR PERSONALITY???
