OMG! Do my school teachers read their students' blogs???

I just found out that some of my teachers read blogs. Jeff's told me before that the teachers in his school do so, but I never really thought that my teachers were that computer-savvy. I mean, I've always imagined them to be really good housewives when they are not in their teacher mode, or merely the typical manja girlfriend outside of school compound. I never thought that they'd go around reading their students' blogs!

I mean, isn't that like a total violation of our rights to privacy? I mean, it would be totally fine if they read our blogs in their normal-human-being mode, but imagine if they were reading them in their teacher mode! And then use the stuff we write here as blackmail material to get us to do their bidding!

Alright alright I know I sound like a total drama queen. But I am just really surprised you know. I mean, we're not only STUDENTS when we live our lives you know. We are NORMAL HUMAN BEINGS. And we have our rights to rant and moan all we want in our blogs if we want to. We have the right to complain about teachers you know, I mean, if they did anything wrong or whatever. I mean, as long we're not defaming them then I guess it is fine right. God, please tell me I'm right.

Probably it's cos when we're students, we're supposed to be nice and obey whatever our teachers say and all that, and so everything our teachers do IS correct anyway so we shouldn't have anything to complain about them. But then, we are not ROBOTS you know, we're actually humans. You can judge us through our blogs, no problem, but DON'T channel your judgement to how we perform in school. We're just being ourselves, teens. As long as we're not doing anything wrong, then it is OF COURSE fine right to talk about teachers?

Like how I am not satisfied with the way my English teacher marks my papers for instance. Am I supposed to keep quiet about it for the rest of my life? Don't I have a right to voice out my opinions as well? I can at least talk about it right. I mean, since I'm not taking any actions against my English teacher, it is pretty obvious that all I meant to do when I ranted about her was just that, to rant. Cos I don't hate my teachers. Seriously, I don't. It's just, I don't see why I can't talk about them here, in MY blog. My PRIVATE HAVEN. My SANCTUARY. My, oh whatever it is la it's still mine.

Sure it's wrong to publish untrue stuff about people, spreading rumours and tarnishing someone's image and all that. But I've never done that. And also I know it is not completely right to talk about something, just because it's the truth if it hurts someone. One particular incident taught me that. But I'm still going to stick by my opinion that it is ALRIGHT to talk about my teachers, whether they are GOOD stuff or BAD stuff because (they are not hurtful stuff la, I just rant!), this is life man. EVERYONE's talking about EVERYONE. It's just how the world goes round.

I stick to my opinions, but if I find out later on that I'm wrong, I would change them. But for now, I don't see what the big fuss is about when we talk about our teachers. Yea, we have to respect them, but what has talking about them have anything do with whether or not we respect them? I mean, so we respect this person and when we feel dissatisfied about said person we're just supposed to shut up about it?

As long as what I'm reporting is 100% true from what I observe, I really don't see anything wrong in reporting it. Unless of course if it hurts the other person. But come on, we can't please the whole world. Try listening to what your students have to say about you, and then YOU try to see the error in YOUR ways for once instead of always trying to teach your students. Which is kind of oxymoronic for me to say, since you guys ARE teachers after all. But still. Think about it. We kids are human beings too. You can't expect us to lock all our emotions inside right?

And if you're talking about how when there's a problem we should confront that person, then BELIEVE ME, some things are best to just be left un-discussed. Cos imagine, IS a teacher ABLE to listen to his/her student complain about him/herself and not defend him/herself? NO. When we complain to a teacher FACE-TO-FACE of what we DON'T like about said teacher, all we students get will be a LONG patronising lecture on respecting the elders, and then before we get sent to disciplinary classes, we will have to sign some papers saying we ACCEPT the penalty marks given to us when in reality we DON'T ACCEPT them at all.

I'm not saying ALL teachers are like that. But most HUMAN BEINGS in general WOULDN'T be able to take it anyway if a younger person tries to make them see the error of their ways. Cos it's human instinct that we ALWAYS feel that we're more superior to the other person, what's more when the other person is actually YOUNGER than us. So get what I mean?

Anyways. It's kind of presumptuous of me to write a long ranting post dedicated to my teachers as if I am already SURE that my teachers do read MY blog. Still. You never know. Plus, I am PROUD of my blog, so I wouldn't mind if one of my teachers DO stumble across joeyjoeldavid.blogspot.com, only, you know, it depends on who the teacher turns out to be.

And THIS, is a picture of a dead shark.

Ciao.

Ya I worry about this too. Especially since im studying to be a future teacher, but I write lots of craps. If my lecturers finds out i use vulgar words and talk behind their back, im so dead.
